The effects of globalization to our government  is that, there is a reduction of economic independence. The increase of competition locally and internationally gives headache to our government, the increase of market size with the effects of Absolute or Comparative Advantages in manufacturing creates the need to specialize in narrow product production or service areas to be able to compete successfully. This requires open market policies.
